1. General
Radio Frequency Identification RFID is the acronym for radio frequency identification, commonly known as RFID. Radio Frequency Identification RFID is a non-touch automatic identification technology, radio frequency signal through the automatic target recognition and access to relevant data, to identify without human intervention, it can work in a variety of harsh environments. RFID technology can identify the high-speed moving objects, also identify multiple tags, the operation is quickly and conveniently.

ET7136 RFID Reader is mainly used in schools, residential security, plant access, government access control, automotive systems, ET7136 RFID Reader also support FAM feature, which supports 3 DI, 1 DO, 1 AI, 2 TE ports, it can be connected to different sensors to cooperate with RFID function.
ET7135 can be choose GPS function, according to market demand of the GPS location management, Combine with GPRS RFID function, ET7136 school bus reader is able to real time send GPS location and RFID TAG information via the GPRS network to data center. 2. Feature
• Industrial Design
ET7136 RFID Reader is industrial design which built-in watchdog chipset to ensure the system work continuously, Watchdog monitoring the GPRS module and CPU all the time, if the GPRS module or CPU does not response for long time, Reader will restart automatically. Reader is very suitable for long-term continuous work applications.
• GPS locating (Optional)
Real-time checking the location of the vehicles, terminal device will automatically report position, monitoring Center will automatically pop-up map showing the current location of vehicles.
• Main and backup data center
ET7136 RFID Reader support main and backup data center, user can set both main data center IP address or domain name, when Reader fail to connect with main data center, it will try to connect backup data center automatically.
• TAG buffer
ET7136 RFID Reader can save the TAG card information in the NVRAM buffer, if the GPRS network is abnormal, the reader will save data in the NVRAM, when the network returns to normal, the data will be sent immediately. NVRAM has feature for save data even power lose, so even reader power lose, Tag data will still save in the NVRAM. Reader buffer can save max 2000 TAG information.
• TAG Packet Series Number
All TAG data packet include serial number, Data center need to reply a corresponding serial number of the ACK packet after received TAG packet, readers receive the ACK packet, then delete the TAG information from the buffer, otherwise it will resend TAG packet (as specified time interval and frequency). This feature is based on the GPRS network feature, to ensure TAG data doesn't lose.
• Embedded Li-battery and Temperature sensor
ET7136 RFID Reader built-in 1000mA Lithium battery, it can work for 3 hours if the external power supply cut off. the built-in temperature sensor can real-time monitoring of environment temperature, and the outside TE port can be extended to the user device surface to monitoring equipment temperature.
• SMS Remote Restart
ET7136RFID reader supports SMS remote control, users can query the device working status through SMS, also user can reboot reader through SMS.
• DO port programmable output
ET7136 RFID Reader DO (digital output) port supports programmable output, according to the requirement of user site, the level of output level, switching time, times would be programmable.
• Zone type
DI ports support zone type setting which can be set to as common zone, delay zone, intelligent zone, emergency zone, home zone, according to the user site conditions and sensor type, set the correct zone type to prevent false alarm, missing alarm.
• SMS Backup
Communication with the RFID data center through GPRS; if GPRS disconnect, FAM can send the TAG information via SMS for backup tunnel.
• SMS password, RFID TAG, Keypad password, Fingerprint Authentication, Timing Arm/Disarm
Reader support multiple Arm/Disarm function, it can perform a specified time every day to Arm/Disarm; FAM also support any mobile phone number via a password to Arm/Disarm; RFID TAG way to Arm/Disarm; Fingerprint authentication to Arm/disarm. After the instruction is executed successfully, FAM will send the Arm/Disarm information to the administrator phone as well.
• Camera capture picture
Reader provides the interface to connect with camera, real-time remote image capture, with the Reader IO ports trigger function, real-time capture images when an alarm is generated, and sent to the data center; Reader can be set to a fixed time interval for continuous capture images as well.
• Micro SD slot (TF Slot)
Reader provide Micro SD Slot (slot TF slot) that is used to store camera photo/alarm log/arm disarm log data, when the alarm generated, FAM can receive the photo data from the camera and store into the Micro SD card, then sent to the data center via the GPRS network, it overcome the instability GPRS network transmission of large data, and ensure the photos never lost.
• USSD calls fee inquiry, AGPS base station location
Reader supports USSD way to check SIM card calls fee and inquiries AGPS base station positioning. through AT commands, we can check SIM card calls fee, and recharger SIM card on time to prevent arrears that affect the normal operation; also, we can use AT command to check base station code, it is able to locate the position of the device.
• LED indicator to display Arm and Disarm
Reader DO port can be connected to 12V dual color LED lights, and displays the current Arm and Disarm status. Red indicates the FAM is ARM status, Green indicates FAM is Disarm status.
• TAG link to DO output
Reader support TAG link to DO port output function, with the DO programming output function, we can connect a LED and buzzer on DO port, and then we would know TAG result according to the LED light and buzzer.
• Clock synchronization
ET7136 Reader support clock synchronization; it can read the clock from SMS or get clock from management platform by GPRS.
• Graphical configuration software
ET7136 RFID Reader provides full graphical software configuration, easy to use, and supports import or export configuration file; so users just simply click a few icons to quickly setup RFID system.
